It is accessible on an access road of the Nagykanizsa-Gyékényes road. Characteristics: The name of the settlement was first mentioned in written documents in 1296. The main source of income was agriculture, especially fruits. The village, isolated for centuries, has still preserved its traditions. Until the early 1940s, Nemespátró belonged to Somogy county. It was attached to Zala in 1950, when the population was 800. The population is declining. Unemployment is 5%. Today, most of the people live on agriculture. The municipality plan to build the Porrogszentpál-Nemes-pátró-Liszó road by the year 2000. Also, it is important to create employment for the local people. The Evangelical Church of Nemespátró was built in 1869.
